Biography
Hetvi Tambawala is a Ph.D. student at the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining her Ph.D., she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering and Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (Mumbai), and worked in ExxonMobil for 2 years. Hetvi started working with Professor Ryosuke Okuno and Professor Manish Kumar since Fall 2025. Her current research focuses on membrane electrodialysis for applications in carbon capture and sequestration.
