Biography
Hao is a Ph.D. student in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the China University of Petroleum-Beijing. Since 2021, he has been collaborating with Professor Ryosuke Okuno on geologic carbon sequestration and enhanced oil recovery. Hao’s current research focuses on the use of formate and CO2 nanobubbles for geologic carbon storage and enhanced oil recovery.
