Biography
Botong Deng is a Ph.D. student at the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining his Ph.D., he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Botong started working with Professor Ryosuke Okuno since Fall 2025.
