Biography

Md Fahim Shahriar is a Research Fellow in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from UT Tyler and his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology. Since 2024, he has been collaborating with Professor Ryosuke Okuno on carbon capture and sequestration, with a particular focus on carbon dioxide storage technology.
